Placements and Internships
- I have completed 2 years of my internship in K S P RAJU & ASSOCIATES a leading chartered accountant firm.
- I have undergone for different audits such as banking , manufacturing, finance and some big firms.
- The annual average expected salary figure once the batch gets placed is around Rs 9 to 21 lakhs per annum at ICAI.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostels are available around Rs 3500 to 4500 per month, no PG options.
- The cost per meal is around Rs 35 per lunch etc.
- The infrastructure is ok at ICAI.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The entrance exam for CA is CPT which I have cleared it in Dec 2013 with 162 /200 and later IPCC which is 9 moths after CPT which was cleared by me in Nov 2014 and now preparing for CA final.
- The typical cutoff marks are subjects wise cutoff i.e. 40% and Groupwise cutoff i.e. overall 50%.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine always studies and in the case of articles nearly 12 hours office.
- The quality of teaching is good at ICAI.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee per year is around Rs 50000 to 80000 ICAI.
- Yes, there are scholarship options but they are very few.
- Average students who get a scholarship is around 3 %.
- Banking loans are not beeing given to CA students we are only relying on hand loans from moneylenders and landlords etc.
Clubs and Associations
- No student societies and clubs etc are there at ICAI.
- The main festivals on the campus are Samkrathi, Diwali and Dusshara.

After qualifying for the 10+2 exam, a student has to qualify for CPT exam. Eligibility for taking the Integrated Professional Competence Course Examination Before taking the Integrated Professional Competence Examination, the candidate must have qualified CPT. In CPT, it is objective type questions and for the total of 200 marks, you have to get 50 percent pass marks.
