- I have done an internship in Tata Power thermal plant.
- Mainly IT companies such as TCS, Accenture, Danske IT, Wipro, German Unitech visit SMVIT for placements.
- The average salary figure is Rs 3.8 lakhs, the highest salary figure is Rs 16 lakhs.
- 96 percent of the students got placed.
- Alumni are based on various cities across India and abroad.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 4 boys hostel present at SMVIT, I did not stay at the hostel.
- No good PG options are there near the college and they have a high cost.
- The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries are very good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria and admission procedure for my course were based on pure merit.
- COMEDK entrance examination has to be taken to get into SMVIT, Bangalore.
- The typical cutoff is based on the marks in the entrance exams.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings are from 9am to 4:15 pm at SMVIT.
- The quality and method of teaching are good.
- The overall experience is excellent.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is Rs 1.5 lakh at SMVIT Bangalore.
- Only CET students and students facing financial problems have scholarship options.
- I have no idea about the number of students who get a scholarship.
- I did not apply for a loan, hence no idea.
Clubs and Associations
- Many student societies and clubs are there including music, dance, dramatics, projects and sports.
- Verve, Kalanjali, Aseeemith, inter-branch sports are the main festivals on the campus at SMVIT.
- The life in the college is awesome.
