Placements and Internships
- Internship at CIM tools , which has an MOU with the department. Also , lecturers give ample contacts to pursue internships in fields of choice * Roles : Manufacturing : Design , business analyst, data analyst , finance , it and service consultant roles .
- Companies : TVS, Toyota , Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai , Bosch , JP Morgan, ABB, Schneider Electric, Walmart , mu sigma , Stellarium, Laguna Clothing , etc., ( IT: TCS, Accenture , Wipro) * Most of the students are doing extremely well in their field of interest. Many have pursued MS in Industrial Engineering while others have opted for MBA.
- Through contacts provided by lecturers, they can be contacted for valuable guidance .
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- * There are three hostels (Boys, Girls, and International) . Fees can be found on inquiry using the number on the website. * Numerous PGs for both girls and boys are around the college. Fees are starting at 5k per month including food . *The campus , is sprawling with a lovely green cover . The college has several auditoriums , a multipurpose hall located near the hostel and a library that is well stocked. The library also has a reading room facility . The Indoor stadium has badminton courts , gyms. Most of the departments have in department library . Since the college is being renovated, the infrastructure will certainly be improved further.Wifi is provided upon registration of device. Classrooms comfortably seat 60 students and are well ventilated and the lecture halls and department labs are equipped with AC. *The canteens(5) provide extremely tasty food at very reasonable rates. The newly revamped canteen has almost everything you can crave for . A meal can easily be had at about 50rs. There is both a mix of healthy food and snacks.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria for IEM : A CET rank below 10000.(7000 if GM) KCET ( Common entrance test ) Karnataka. COMEDK is also another option for admission
Academics and Faculty
- The class hours are generally from 8-2 most of the days and extend up to 5:00 when practical classes are scheduled. An average of 6 subjects is present per semester which is supplemented by seminars , assignments, and mini projects
- The teaching methods are equally divided between digital learning and board teaching . The lecturers are very well experienced and teach in sufficient detail. They are also available for further guidance post class hours. Current situations and scenarios in the industry are also gauged through industrial visits . * BMSCE is the place you should be in if you want a balanced learning. The college helps you manage cultural and sports activities and seamlessly blend them with academics . The rules are not binding for the student's freedom but does keep one's discipline in check.

- ₹ 10,000- 40,000 per year based on category The department on behalf of the college gives a scholarship every year based on CGPA.Also, the Phaseshift committee provides a merit.cum means scholarship for those in need. Clubs and Associations
- *The college has a thriving cultural life and the popular clubs include the ones for photography, dance ,music, fine art, mountaineering, aeroclub , Maths , Kannada club , literature club etc. The induction for the clubs is held post an event called Illuminati which give a fair chance to everyone who is talented. * BMSCE , which has gained much of its fame through its intercollegiate cultural cult fest UTSAV, has three days of amazing fun on the campus. This fest falls in the even semester while in the odd semester, the technical fest Phaseshift is conducted * BMSCE prepares you not only for exams but for life. Extremely cultured and friendly people make it the four most memorable years of your life.
