Placements and Internships

I have taken vocational training in Indian Railway(East Coast) which was for 45 days which was quite interesting. It's a government organization so no stipend. They explained us about different sections of signal and telecommunication department of the railway.
Well leading global companies like TCS hires from our college. Other off-campus companies are there like for Tech Mahindra, CDK global, pool campus like for Wipro. At the end of the year, most of the students are placed and other interested for higher study select their streams accordingly. Last time 99% students were placed.
Highest salary was Rs 7,00,000 per annum.
The alumni network are extremely good.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, [IGIT] Dhenkanal is one of the most prestigious college in the state of Odisha. It procures student through JEE MAIN. But during my time there was this OJEE through which i got selected.

Academics and Faculty

Project meeting occurs twice a week. The faculties give assignments regularly which help us in our study to get a clear cut picture of any concept.
The faculties are very friendly.
My overall experience in Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, [IGIT] Dhenkanal is superb.

My course fee in Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, [IGIT] Dhenkanal is Rs 81000/- per year including hostel fees.
There are lots of scholarship options like prerana, medhabruti, NSF, Bikash trust etc.Almost every student gets an opportunity to get the scholarship.
No, I think loans are not needed.
