- Placements are good.
- I must say they provide the best placement in UPTU and is one of the colleges in India that are good in placement.
- But you have to search internship by yourself.
- The average salary figure is around Rs 3.3 lacs per annum as a mass recruiter are major IT firms.
- Almost all the eligible ones get placed at GCET.
- People also get the placement of around Rs 8 lacs.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- College Infrastructure is very good.
- One of the best infrastructure of colleges of UPTU.
- The campus has three hostels, two for girls and one for boys.
- The mess is not that much good.
- They provide with the same food.
- But there are shops inside the campus.
- Wi-Fi is totally paid at a cost of Rs 350 a month for 10GB.
- The library is average.
- CS/IT classrooms are very good, rest all the classrooms are average at GCET.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The admissions are from UPSEE entrance examination.
- My rank was around 7700 but now one can get electronics and communication for around 10000.

- The faculty is helpful and the method of teaching is simple.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for getting admission in Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is to pass the 10th and 12th class with more than 60 percent in PCM on any board. Then the students have to fill the AKTU form for graduation then a test will be held on fixed date at any center than clear the test. Then results will announce on a fixed date. Then rank along with marks also given in the results and cutoffs will also announce for different courses. This AKTU examination held in whole up at many centers so competition is very hard. Then according to ranks students who are interested in taking admission for different courses will have to go on verification center to verify documents which are necessary then choices for institution also done online in which institution student want to take admission.
