Placements and Internships
- Since being a first-year student, I don't have much idea of the placement but as much as I have seen and known from my seniors, the placements are not as good as expected atDaulat Ram College, Delhi University.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The quality of infrastructure is very bad and needs improvement at Daulat Ram College, Delhi University.
- Though with the press from student authorities things are getting better and construction is going on but still it needs a major development.
- The college has its own hostel which due to its high fees is preferred by few students while others choose PG accommodations which are easily available in areas like Kamla Nagar, Roop Nagar, Vijay Nagar, Hudson lane etcetera.
- The college canteen is good and serves a variety of dishes of which chilli potato is widely loved.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The college comes under Delhi university and thus students are allotted seats on the basis of their best of four percentage.
- Being a north campus college, it is in high demand and thus had a high cut off which came down to somewhere around 92 in the last list.
Academics and Faculty
- The best thing about Daulat Ram College is its excellent faculty, especially of English department.
- Teachers are very helpful and take classes regularly and are willing to take extra pains for the sake of students.
Fees and Scholarships
- Our course fee is somewhere close to Rs 15000 atDaulat Ram College, Delhi University.
- There is a fee concession scholarship available for students with low family income.
Clubs and Associations
- There are a variety of student societies to choose from and all of them are very active at Daulat Ram College, Delhi University.
- They hold sessions regularly and actively participate in competitions.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : In English honors, the student has to read novels and also the history of English literature basically so that they can get an idea about the background of English literature and it will also help them to secure good mark. Also the admissions are on the basis of the cutoff.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Daulat Ram College, Delhi University is one of the best colleges for science & English as well! It has one of the best facilities, faculties, library, etc. and it is a part of north campus which provides ample Opportunities and exposure to the students. So, the cutoffs are really high.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria and admission procedure for B.A. Hons. (English) in Delhi University was cut-offs. There were no entrance exams in Daulat Ram College. The cut-offs for English Hons. , especially in Delhi University,go really high. The highest cutoff this year being 99% in St. Stephen's college. I got admission into Daulat Ram College when it's cut off was 92.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission to DU for Humanities courses is purely on the basis of marks, through a cut off which is different for every college, which I personally think is very inadequate. There should be interviews to filter out the best of best since it's supposed to be the best govt University, Daulat Ram College, Delhi University.
