Placements and Internships
- Placments in SVNIT is increased due to the position and reputation of collage ..our department provides internships in summer at 5000 for two months.
- Many big companies come to over collage for placments like TATA,ASIANPAINTS, L&T , etc. And also government sector like BPCL ,ONGC etc.
- Very high salary also is provided like Rs. 2500000/annum .
- Alumini network is also very strong .by the alumni association .many alumni are in surat so we can easily contact them
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 7 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel .the boys hostel are given by the year in which you are studying . The hostel fee is Rs. 32300 .to know more about hostels you can visit www.svnit.ac.in . The PGs is also good but it is costly near the college .its better to prefer hostel then PG.
- The food is good in hostels, it costs Rs. 2400 per month in SVNIT.
- The infrastructure of collage is very nice .in past 2-3 years its changed very well good classes big library.and wifi speed of collage is also awsome hispeed internet.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- To be a student of SVNIT first you have to score nice in 12th and also in JEE mains and JEE Advance .If you score a very good score you can easily get any branch .but if you had not performed good the choices of selection gets reduces.
- The cutoffs depends upon the caste and state of the student. For general category the cutoff is high and for SC/ST its very less . Cutoff for my department is 25000 or less.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine for my course is Little bit hectic we have labs from 8:30 to 12:30 then we have lunch break from 12:30 to 14:00 . After lunch we have lectures. Assignments are also given but they are not much long easily can be done in 2 to 3 days. In a semester ther arw two exams mid semester and final semester exams. No other exams are takin by institute.
- The quality and method is good .some faculty's are good and inovative having different style of teaching and some are boring.
- Overall experience is awsome. We have lots of fun in classes in SVNIT.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fees is Rs. 13000 per year its 5 year course in SVNIT.
- There are many scolarship options for students.our collage also provides scolarship to Bright students .who can't pay there fees.about 700 students gets scolarship including sc/st students.the sc/st students has no need to pay tution fee..
- Loans are provided easily for our collage cources by SBI. The student loans can easily get from SBI.
Clubs and Associations
- There are many student chapters in college. like my department has a student chapter known as SCOSH . And also there are associations of students of other states .
- 3 main big festivals are their in our collage 1) mindbend:- technical fest 2) sparsh:- cultural fest 3) ignis:- sports fest.
- The life in our college is awsome in SVNIT.nice environment nice people nice location of college .and lots of greenery.. its very nice to study in this reputed college. Proud to be an NITIAN.
