Placements and Internships
- The internship was done by me in BHEL Hyderabad.
- The key companies generally hail from the IT and services sector.
- The average salary is nearly 3.5 lakhs and highest salary is 9.8 lakhs and 80-90% gets placed.
- Alumni is ever connected through private blogs and portals.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 2 hostels one for boys and the other for girls which are good and fees is around 70,000 per annum
- There are good PG options available in and around the college and cost is around 7000 per month
- Food taste reminds you of your home and your mother.
- The quality of classrooms, labs, dining halls and the library is excellent and the campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi and other infrastructure includes playgrounds, sports complex, and students center.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria are that we have to score extremely good in EAMCET or should get a good rank in JEE MAINS.
- The entrance exams I have taken were both EAMCET and JEE MAINS.
- The typical cut off's were nearly 4000 for EAMCET and 30000 for JEE MAINS.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings are from 10 am-3 pm and projects are generally one per year, exams one per semester per each subject and assignments 2 per semester per each subject.
- The quality and method of teaching are absolutely great where nonconventional methods of teaching are employed.
- It's a very good experience for me so far and I'm really satisfied with my stay here.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fees per year are 97,500/- per annum
- Scholarships are available only to the reserved categories and other caste students who have parental income less than 2 lakhs.
- Almost deserved candidate gets the scholarship.
- Not at all because the money is affordable even by a common man if its necessary every bank will give the loan on producing the required documents.
Clubs and Associations
- There are many societies, clubs and associations in the campus there are as many as 30 various organizations in the college.
- The main festivals are Technical fest in the name of Convergence and cultural fest in the name of Scintillation, sports fest also and in addition, there are a number of other functions which include annual day, independence day, republic day, parade day and engineers day and so on.
- Life is beautiful and exciting.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for my course in VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, [VNR VJIET] Hyderabad is you should pass your 12th standard. There are three ways of admissions one is by writing CET second is based on your IIT JEE MAIN marks and the last one is NRI exam. I took CET to get a seat into mechanical engineering. The cutoff off will be from 5000 to 10000 for girls.
