Placements and Internships
- Our college has the provision for summer training and internship which is up to a student whether he/she wants to do from college only or on his/her own. In the second year, it is compulsory for every student to do an internship in summer in which stipend provided is usually around Rs. 7000-8000 per month.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostels for freshers are okay but for seniors,hostels are very nice.Sometimes hostel staff is too strict to is to handle on our own but it's for our own security only.But suggestions are been made time to time for amendment of some rules.There are lots and lots of PGs in the vicinity of the college area at reasonable rates. Classroom and other infrastructure is nice but gets a little crowded sometimes so that's a problem.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The criteria were on the basis of 12th Board examinations and percentages of PCB combined altogether was considered. For admission, we needed to pass an English language test and an interview in which questions were asked from our school syllabus on the basis of subject preferred.The minimum percentage required for admission was 60% in each subject in board examinations .
Academics and Faculty
- The classes start at 9:15 am till 4:30 in the evening. The faculty is very nice and the routine is generally strenuous during exams and project submission.Tye overall experience is nice obviously but it gets tiresome at some point time but now we're used to it so it's kind of okay for us.
Fees and Scholarships
- The academic fees are around Rs.1,20,000 and hostel fees is around Rs. 80000 per year. There are many scholarship options available. Anyone who has scored 90% and above is eligible for 50% concession on academic fees and student scoring more than 95% will get full academic fee concession.In college, top 3 students of the department are given 50% scholarship on academic fees for that particular semester.
Clubs and Associations
- Almost every department has its own dance club,drama club,literary societies and much more.Students have a variety of options to choose from depending on their interests.In general college life is very happening and busy. There are a lot of things to get engaged in.Fests and fairs occur annually and they're a visual treat and a nice opportunity to showcase yourself and your talent.
