Placements and Internships
- no such internship but trainings are done in imu kolkata and imu cochin withount any stipend.
- maersk line, fleet ship management, seateam, mitsui OSK Line,
- during trainning average salary $600 and as 4th engineer average $2000, 25% of batch on average get placed.
- new college so no such alumni network.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 3 hostels are there for boys and one for girls. hostels are good with wifi and fire protection. hostel fee are included in college fee itself
- PGs are good and it is a residential program ,so no outoutside stay.
- foods are also good. mess is also included in college fee itself.
- modern classrooms, few labs for engineering, very good library, dining halls also also neat and good, wifi available throughout the campus, .
- swimming pool is there, sporting facilities are also good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Candidate should be 12th passed with a minimum of 60% and PCM 60%. Admission is done through IMU CET, a national level eligibility test conducted by the university itself.
- ranks are considered as a cut off during counseling.
Academics and Faculty
- daily routines are so heavy. As of me it is among the toughest engineering course.
- teachers are well qualified and experienced and their method of teaching is somehow conventional.
- It is not a college , it is an academy.
Fees and Scholarships
- 2.25 lacs per annum is the fee exclusive of exm fee.
- no scholarship from college unless provided by state government.
- no idea if they get from state government.
- loans are surely needed as fee is heavy. can be availed from SBI bank in campus.
Clubs and Associations
- there are different student welfare societies, placement cell participation, cultural fests association and higher studies preparation clubs .
- tech fest 'natatorial' , university day celebrtion, monthly reputed guests lacture , intercollege sports meet etc.
- life in college is mostly like schools, i mean disciplines.
