Placements and Internships
- No done any internship yet so no chance of stipend yet. If we talk about overall DU campus, yes it has very good central placement cell. But hard work is required to be a part pf it. Ya, it has strong alumni network. As a part of the central university, I have witnessed many good programs by different colleges and still many are going on where many reputed people address the youth.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is only one hostel of college for which cut off is used to be there. PGs are in n numbers outside the college. Usually, PGs costs ranges between 11000-15000 inclusive of food meal per month. Food in college is reasonable as maximum in 50rs you will be able to fulfill your hunger from the canteen. Classrooms and labs are not good . But the library is of 2 floors with full AC and wifi facility.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- There is no entrance exam required for this course as of now. Admission is based on merit score secured in senior secondary board exam. -
- The cut offs for this course ranges from 93%-99% as in the case of a delhi university. For economics hons. DU is best in terms of opportunities and education. I college in which I secured seat is Daulat ram college. The college is blessed with amazing faculty for economics. Also, it is a part of north campus which adds to its advantages. As of now infrastructure is not good but if you want a good education with dedicated teachers then one should prefer it. Talking about fees so it's definitely not high.
Academics and Faculty
- Class schedules are sometimes hectic. Usually, exams held in the month of Nov-dec and may-June. The quality of teaching is far better than any of the college. Excellent as in a case of economics. Amazing experience. As if the infrastructure is not considered then you are definitely going to have fun and fun as DU have amazing series of events which held throughout the year.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is Rs.15000 per year. But it varies college to college. Not yet witnessed any scholarship options and loan options. But I think no need means fees if considered is not high
Clubs and Associations
- There are loads of societies like dance society, theater society and all. We do have sports complex having most of the facilities for sports person. In general, it's a good college. College life is full of fun with lots of creative activities and when there is a group of friends so nothing to worry there will be always a fun.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission procedure was based on 12 standard results and there was no entrance examination for my course. The cut off for BSc Life sciences for general category starts from 95 marks in PCB and the last cut off comes to 80 or 85.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For English honors or any other course in Daulat Ram College, your percentage will be calculated on the basis of your marks in best 4 subjects . The first cut off by daulat ram college was around 95%. I got admission in last cut off i.e. 8th cut off.
