Placements and Internships
- You will get an internship with the help of college if you are among Top 5 students of the class,else you need to use intern shall or the references.
- The Avg stipend is around 5k for Avg cse student,if you are the brilliant student you can get up to 10-15k.
- Avg Salary package for placement is around 3.2 lakhs-4 lakhs.Highest salary package goes around 12k this year so far.
- Placement is just average if you want to get Avg salary package then its quite easy.But if you want a higher package you need to work really hard,and by hard I mean really hard.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- If you are a girl ,you will get a college hostel easily.else you will need the influence to get normal boys hostel or you will need hell lot of money to get IISH i.e boys hostel with all the facilities a.c,good furnishing etc.else you can get into nearby hostels in sec 58,but the locality of sec 58 is quite awful,I would say its the dirtiest place of Noida and these hostels will implement their own rules without any control.either abide by their rules or leave.else you can get a pg,flat.But for that, you need a group of understanding friends.You can get pg in sec 55-56 easily and they are quite good.You can take flats in Indirapuram,Sec 12-22,Sec 63 they are bit costly but the locality is quite clean and peaceful their.College Hostel fees are around 80k and for IISh its Rs.1.2 lakhs,pg/flats are quite cheaper then this.would suggest hostel for 1 year and then pg/flat for 2year onwards.College hostel food is just average.If you want to eat in Fc it will cost you around 70 per meal.Library is quite good and the only decent place in college .You will be charged for the wifi in the fees irrespective of whether you are residing in the college campus or not,and the wifi is hell slow
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- To get into js satan you need a decent rank in upset or jee mains.
- If you are a student of general category then you need a rank below Rs.4000 to get used and R s7-8000 if you are sc/st in UPSEE.
- Most of the students use their upset rank,but you can also use your jee mains rank which needs to be below 50k.
- I used my UPSEE rank to get admission .
Academics and Faculty
- Class commence at 8.30 am.
- Lunch-12.30-1.30 pm.
- Class -4.30 pm.
- 2 half days-class till 12.30 only on wed and sat.
- If you find the schedule quite hectic ,don't worry you will have sufficient bucks depending on your colleagues.
- There are 2 sessionals in each semester and the university exam.
- You will get lots of assignment but you can easily complete them with the help of your friends.
- The Quality of teaching is just average,Most of the teachers don't know what they are teaching ,there are only a few teachers who really know how to teach.
- The overall experience I would say was just average.If you are a bright student and can study on your own then go for it.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is around Rs.1 lakh and it goes up to 5k every year.
- You can get your upset scholarship easily,most of the students get that,the scholarship will cover your whole tuition fees.
- I think a middle-class Indian family can easily provide that much without any loans,but in case you need it you can get it easily from banks,But remember you need to repay the loan after 1 yr from graduating.My friend has taken from Bank of Baroda at the interest of 12.5 %.
Clubs and Associations
- There are lots of societies ,each for its branch and some for cultural purposes.
- Main events are Zealicon i.e annual techno-cultural festival,myth i.e sports festival,Hackathon.
- Life in college is good ,you will make friends for the lifetime .you gonna get lots of memories Birthday bashes,GPL,road trips,Chai pe charcha,Cs nights,quantum,Delhi hangouts and lots more.
