Placements and Internships
- The major recruiters are CTS, INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, WIPRO, CAP GEMINI followed by many more companies that come to our college for placements
- About 150 companies visited every year to our campus and sathyabama university has good placement record (95% last year) which increases every year.
- Average package offered will be about 3.5 lakh/ annum.
- The highest package offered last year was 18.5 lakh/ annum to a girl from CSE department.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The hostel fee is Rs.45k/annum. Since Sathya Bama university provides free feeding facility without any charge one need not spend money outside mess.
- It will also provide free wi-fi access. If any student wants to stay in pg it cost 5 to 6 thousand with lodging+ fooding facility / month.
- The classrooms are good enough with excellent lab facilities.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Sathyabama university takes its own entrance examination.
- The form will be easily available in any major branches of the Indian bank.
- The total marks will be 100 out of that if you will get more than 35 marks you will be offered any of the branches of your choice.
- Departments like C.S.E./I.T., E.E.E. and E.C.E. are said to be most reputation wise high branches.
Academics and Faculty
- University will start at 8: 15 Am. After 2 classes tea break will be provided in and after next 2-period lunch will be provided.
- Timing will vary by department wise.
- After 3 more period classes will be dismissed. Since it is Christian minority university it provides good teaching.
- All the staffs are good and devoted to teaching student at any time.
- The most important thing is that you have to maintain discipline and should follow all the rules and regulations strictly.
Fees and Scholarships
- At my time course fee was Rs.1,20,000 per annum which include bus facility and mess charge also.
- It increased now reached to 175k. Still, it is good as sathyabama university provide good brake fast followed by tea/coffee/butter milk and then delicious lunch.
- Come to the scholarship from merit basis it provide 50%,40% and 30% scholarship to the department 1st, 2nd and 3rd topper respectively.
- Along with this scholarship by the state government will be provided for OBC, SC/ST students.
- Education loan also will be provided easily by any of the banks after getting the bonafide certificate from the university.
Clubs and Associations
- There are 15 student societies and clubs going on inside the campus eg: science, literature, robotics, Mozilla, google and various other clubs in Sathyabama University.
- The main cultural program is organized in annual day and techno summit with various other interesting events organizing by clubs.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligible person should have finished his/her Intermediate/+2 in MPC. Then we need to attend an entrance exam conducted by University, depending on the marks received will be eligible to choose the selected course, for my course(E.C.E) need to get 50+ marks. Anyhow, I got through management seat as I didn't attend the entrance exam.
