• The placement is good approx 90%of all branch gets placed except for  civil. 
• TCS IBM Helward Packard Mahindra Capgemini and approx more than 30 companies visits every year. 
• The college provides industrial visit for 2nd and 3rd student. MoU sign between NJIT(New Jersey) and hit for student exchange program.

• The hostel facility is not available too much for boys in HIT, Kolkata.
• For the girls, it is more available. For boys limited seats are available.
• There are no criteria as such for admissions into the hostel. 
• The infrastructure, classes, labs, and library are all decently built and maintained.

• For the entrance of the college, you have to  complete your 12th.
• The admission was taken on the behalf of WBJEE or JEE-MAIN.
• I take the admission through WBJEE into Heritage Institute of Technology, [HITK] Kolkata.
• The cutoff for ME CSE EE ECE  is under 5000 in WBJEE and for the other branch approx under 7000, you may get the college.

• Approx 7 hours daily class(including lab, break). No class on Saturday and Sunday.
• The quality of teaching is good.
• Some teachers are well experienced and have a good teaching method. many teacher are from engineering background.

• The course fee is Rs.85000 per year of Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. 
• And many scholarships are available like national and state. 
• Most of the students got wb scholarship whose domicile is West Bengal. 
• Loans are easily available in all banks. But the students can get loans from banks where they have their registered permanent address.

The clubs are managed by the students.many clubs are available in each field like robotics, singing, IEEE, fashion dance literature etc. The students of HIT, Kolkata mostly enjoy themselves.
