Placements and Internships
- I have done my internship in Shirdi airport for a duration of 1 month, there was no stipend.
- There are many IT companies which come during the campus placement,this year TCS ,AMAZON,ACCENTURE,BENZ,WIPRO,L AND T,and many IT,finance companies have come to hire.
- The average salary is around 3.2 to 3.6 lakhs per year. around 60-70% students get placed
- The alumni network is very strong in MIT, many of placements are done by alumni companies such a Think and learn.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 21 hostel blocks , my hostel is fees is 1,10,000rs per year(it's a yearly payment).
- Many houses are available outside the campus the pricing is similar to hostels.
- The food is very hygienic and healthy ,its costs around 90rs per meal.
- The quality of infrastructure is top notch , everything is available.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
A student has to give the entrance exam of the manipal university MU OET , based on the result the ranking is given. Since I am in the civil engineering course,the cutoff was around 14000 rank. Cutoff varies for every course.
Academics and Faculty
- We have 4 hours of classes everyday and 2 lab per week.
- We have 5 assignments per subject and 2 internal exams per subject.
- We have 2 mini projects in 3rd year and 1 major project in 4 year.
- The quality of teaching is outstanding .
- My college Manipal Institute of Technology gives me the best experiences in life.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fees are Rs.2,47,000 for civil engineering for my batch at Manipal Institute of Technology.
- The top rank holders in each batch get 100% scholarship,om average 2 to 3 students per branch get this scholarship.
- Most of the loans are availed from icici and SBI bank.
Clubs and Associations
- We have every club that is possible in a college, starting from solar cars to space satellite ,it's really amazing to think about.
- We have 2 major fests every year, the technical fest is called tech tattva and the cultural fest is called revels.
- Life here is challenging yet fun and amazing , Manipal University location is truly a beautiful place.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The entrance exam is the MUOET, out of 200 marks. 100 marks can assure you a seat in the main campus depending on your branch. CSE and such branches are 135+. EEE, Mechatronics, Aero, Auto are 115+.
