  • One has to do a one-year internship after finishing 4 1/2 years of course at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, [BMCARI] Bangalore.
  • You will be paid around Rs 20,000 as the stipend.
  • Alumini network is good.Every year they conduct workshops on clinical emergency management and surgical skills.
  • If you are planning for USMLE you can get a recommendation from them.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Fees & Scholarships : The Course fee at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute for M.B.B.S. per year differs from General to category. General Course fee per Semester or 6months is about INR 6-7k Category Course fee per semester or 6months is about INR 2k. Fees do not including hostel/canteen charges. Examination fees are extra and differ from year to year. Scholarships are subject to the number of candidates who apply and the ones that qualify but are usually a hectic ordeal. Loans are usually not needed but are easily available as this is a govt medical college with a very low fee structure.
