Placements and Internships
- I did my internship from Narmada Gelatine factory.
- The companies which visit Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences are only IT sector companies.
- TCS, TATA Tech and Tech Mahindra these are some regularly visiting key companies.
- The highest salary figure is around Rs 4.8 lakhs per annum only.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are hostels available for boys and girls separately.
- The fee of the hostel is about Rs 25000 per year bus facility is also available.
- The food is well and good you can get a good meal in only Rs 30 per plate.
- There are as many PG's with good availability of rooms for students.
- PG's outside the college cost around Rs 2500 per month.
- Classes have A.C. installed and infrastructure of the college is very good including Facilities in Labs.
- There is also a very good library.
- The wi-fi is worst there is only 1 open wi-fi which never works at Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- There was an examination conducted during those days named P.E.T. but now the exam is closed now.
- Through the same exam, I was allocated this college and branch.
- M.P.P.E.T. was a state level exam in M.P. for the allotment of engineering colleges.
- But nowadays a common entrance examination is conducted named JEE MAIN for the admission in engineering colleges.
- I got 77 marks in the M.P.P.E.T. exam and got admission in the Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences in Mechanical Engineering.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine of the college is excellent.
- The faculty is really very sincere about the class timings at Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences.
- The exams are also held in regular basis and assignments are also given very strictly.
- All the faculty members are well experienced but there is a problem in their behavior.
- Sometimes they talk very rudeyl even if we are humble.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee is Rs.62,000 per year at Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences.
- The Govt provided scholarship options based on the caste.
- Around 40% of students in my batch are getting a scholarship.
- The loans are needed by so many students and they get help mainly from SBI.
Clubs and Associations
- There are no student societies, clubs and associations at Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences.
- But there is a good society of students.
- The main festivals on campus are only tech.
- In the college, there is no ragging but faculty is very rude to students sometimes they even beat too

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria have changed a lot from my admission time to present time for B.E. I got the admission through MPPET 2013. Right now there are mainly 2 ways to enter. First by JEE marks and then CLC(college level counseling). If you get good marks and seeking for Govt/semi govt colleges in MP for B.E. then GEC Jabalpur, SGSITS, SATI are some of the good options. If you get average or a little better than Avg marks then you may go for private engineering colleges. LNCT Bhopal, Oriental, and if in Jabalpur then GITS would be a good option for Graduation. Further for branches like MECH and CIVIL, the cutoff is higher than other branches.
Placements & Internships : Tata motors TCS (tata consultant service), Mahindra, Wipro & etc. comes for the placements. Average package is Rs 3-5 LPA approximately.
