Placements and Internships
- I have done my internship at Tata Motors, Lucknow.
- Tata doesn't provide any stipend to the interns.
- There are a lot of companies which visits the campus of NIT B like mainly for the mechanical branch as core company Bajaj Auto, Honda Cars, Maruti, BPCL, Tata Motors etc.
- The average salary figure is about Rs 6.2 lakhs per annum approx and the maximum salary figure is given by Trident Group i.e. Rs 21 lakhs per annum.
- NIT B alumni network is awesome, they are at high positions and help each student when needed.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Total 10 hostels are there in the college with proper facilities.
- The hostel fee is Rs 10000 per year at MANIT Bhopal.
- The PGs are also available outside and they are cost generally varies about Rs 5000 per month approx.
- The food cost is Rs 25000 per year and the quality is according to the price and it only means that it's good.
- The college classes, labs and libraries are up to the mark and are good as new buildings are currently being constructed for the same, the internet is 24 hrs .
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for getting selected in NIT Bhopal is to get a good rank of about 15000 maximum for general category.
- The entrance examination in which the above rank is required to take admission in NIT Bhopal is JEE MAIN.
- The typical cutoff for the above exam is 120 marks.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine as per classes are considered and are held regularly excluding Saturday and Sunday.
- Assignments are given by the teachers and projects are carried in the third year and fourth year.
- A very well environment of learning is there in the campus.
- The quality and method of teaching depend on the teacher to teacher, but overall it is good.
- My overall experience in the college is overwhelming, I generally don't have the best words to describe my feelings but probably its the one of the best NIT you can get.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is Rs 80000 per year excluding the hostel mess fee which is Rs 25000 per year.
- Scholarship options are available as per quota system.
- Most of the lower quota system get a scholarship but general people don't.
- The requirement of loan depends on your financial conditions and yes you can avail that easily from the bank within the MANIT Bhopal campus.
Clubs and Associations
- There are various student societies and clubs which the students can join and can showcase their skills.
- The main festivals on the campus during college time are technical events like Technosearch and culture event like Maffick.
- Apart from that various sports events also take place at inter college level.
- The life in this college is described in one word i.e. extraordinary.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : First of all, you have to fulfil the eligibility criteria to appear in JEE MAIN. 1. Age eligibility criteria, Pass in 12th with PCM. (However for the admission in IITs & NITs one should have minimum 75% marks in 12th.), Maximum no. of attempts is 3. After getting the rank the counselling should be done wisely as per branch and colleges. After that, the verification of docs and medical examination is done at the nearest CSAB centre. Then at the assigned college you have to pay a visit to complete the entire admission procedure. I took JEE MAIN(Rank-10285) & WBJEE(Rank-895) entrance examination. The typical cutoff rank was about 13000 for the mechanical branch for general category. For OBC it was almost 17000.
