Placements and Internships
I did my summer training in TATA CUMMINS in 3rd year. Though TATA STEEL & TATA MOTORS also come in 3rd year for paid internship and based on their performance they confirm their candidature. Mu sigma, l&T CONSTT., John Deere, Future First , ZS Associates etc. and many more companies come for campus placement in NIT. The average salary is about Rs 5 lacs per annum. Alumni network is quite well diversified here. Every year alumni meet is organized here and they assure many beneficial things for students and college.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
13 hostels are there in National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur with separate mess facilities. PG option is easily available in Bishtupur or Adityapur township with a nominal rate as per requirement. Food in college is good and satisfactory.The cost of food is Rs 15000 for a year. Classrooms, labs, libraries etc are needed to be taken care of and updated.

Academics and Faculty
Timings in NIT is from 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm. Quality and method of teaching are satisfactory. professors are exceptionally marvelous and punctual. Overall experience is just superb and amazing.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee in NIT is Rs 2 lacs per annum. OPJEMS Scholarship, IOCL Scholarship, LIC Golden jubilee scholarship, Cummins India scholarship and scholarship for minority community are available here. About 100 students get scholarships .Loans options are available to students
Clubs and Associations
The societies of NIT includes LDS(literary and debating society),CDS(cultural and dramatic society). Various automobile and aircraft teams are there in NIT like Daksh, team Drift, team Revanta, team Ray. The Cultural festival is held every year on large scale. OJASS is annual techno-management fest which is the main festival of NIT. Life in NIT is very nice.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : It is one of the best NIT after NIT from south India. It has very good in placement. To get admission one has to clear JEE MAIN exam conducted by CBSE for graduation in engineering. One with rank up to INR.30000 can get admitted here.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You must be qualified in JEE MAIN. Now in JEE MAIN not consider board marks so in opinion your marks will be more than 160 or JEE MAIN rank will be below 30k for gen and below 35k for OBC candidate
