- Infosys and TCS are the major recruiters and the key companies of NIEC.
- Other companies like HCL, L&T have also visited the campus.
- Training companies like ALMA MATE, SOFCON India Pvt. Ltd, CAPRICOT and RANDSTAD come to train students.
- Since I am 3rd year MAE student, till now I have attended four trainings (AutoCAD, CATIA, INVENTOR & Ansys).
- The average salary figure is between Rs 3-5 lakhs per annum.
- The Highest salary figure is around Rs 6 lakhs per annum.
- Almost 40-50% of students got placed in various companies.
- Alumni network is average at NIEC.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- You have to give entrance examination conducted by GGSIPU ,New Delhi(IPUCET).
- According to your rank you can apply for this college.
- For mechanical engineering the typical cutoff lies between rank 16000-20000.
- You can get admission through management quota if your rank is not in betweem the given cutoff.
- 12% seats are for admission through management quota at NIEC, New Delhi.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is Rs 95,000 for one year including all books from book bank in every semester.
- There is no scholarship option at NIEC.
- Yes,if you want a loan you can get it easily.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Common entrance test based admission is conducted. I have given CET 2017 60 per cent is the basic cutoff
Placements & Internships : Placement is mainly for CSE and IT sector only But last year a girl from MAE got a package of 8 LPA. So there is hope for mechanical students and if you are preparing for the GATE then this college is best. Teachers are very cooperative in nature. Classes held regularly, you need 75% of attendance to sit in examination otherwise you will be detained for those exams.

Placements & Internships : I have done a training program in Honda Motorcycles which was an unpaid affair. Later this year I'll be joining the same company for an internship which will fetch me ₹10,000 per month as stipend. Companies like Infosys, Samsung, Accenture are regular recruiters from our campus. The average salary is about 4 lac per annum.
