Placements and Internships
- In UR2D we are doing an internship as it is a newly evolving student oriented company which is at a corporate level of work. And MU college allows us to do internships at outside the states also.
- Majorly placements at college are IT side and core jobs for Electrical and Electronics students at URCET Krishna.
- Recently we got a day1 campus placements of IBM of which students are got selected for IBM and many more key companies like TCS, Genpact, Synacle, and management also send their students to off campus also.
- The average salary figure is about Rs 3.25 lakhs per annum and the highest salary figure is of Rs 5.2 lakhs pre annum.
- About 75% of students are going to get placed in the companies and recently in Electricals stream on 25 students 5 had placed in core job as it is hard to get a core job for many of college in my area.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 2 hostels that are separately for boys and girls and the fee is around Rs 3000 per month and the food is also provided by college only for the hostelers.
- Outside the college, there are several opportunities to study MS or PG as in my college they provided some of the courses also for Mtech.
- The food in the college is good and not to be said as excellent it's quite satisfactory for students and it costs around Rs 35 per meal.
- The quality of classrooms is digitalized with projectors and laptops.
- In Labs equipment are charged for every span of 2years and the labs are being upgraded every year with new types of equipment and Softwares.
- There are separate dining halls for girls and boys in the college itself as the college has different blocks these dining halls are at R block.
- Wifi facility is provided by URCET but no extra amount are not charged by our college.
- Our college blocks are same as the name Usha Rama as U block, R block E block etc.
- The college has ground, basketball court, cricket nets, volleyball court and other courts to train students in different sports.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria are to have a good score in 12th and AP EAMCET entrance examinations.
- I and every student normally must satisfy the above criteria.
- They are not much typical cutoff, it may be of 75% in intermediate or 12th exams and 70,000 below are selected in AP EAMCET exams.
Academics and Faculty
- Firstly about my college, it gave me a good experience of what is life outside the world.
- The class timings are from 8:30 A.m to 4:00 P.m.
- There's a Research and Development block in our college which doesn't even exists in top colleges of our state. In that department projects and mini projects are done by the projects in the interest of students.
- Mini Projects are started from 2nd year onwards. Assignments are conducted in every week before and after mid exams.
- While coming to the quality and method of teaching its great and teachers or staff are well qualified and they all have got good knowledge on their particular subjects and seminars are also given by the students.
- Most of the classes are digitalized. My college gave me good experience in life as my college has Usha Rama Research & Development which is called as a special team which is completely a corporate style of work is going on the place.
- Innovative projects, Softwares are done there. It gave me confidence that I can work even in an MNC even I am the fresher.
- And, my college URCET Krishna has recently collaborated with the Trine university of Indiana.
Fees and Scholarships
- About the fee structure per year, it costs around Rs 60,000 at URCET.
- As there are different types of scholarship options available as the students have to search for them and apply for those scholarships.
- At an average of 60% are getting the scholarships.
- I think as the fee structure is quite low when compared to other colleges.
- No loan is needed.
Clubs and Associations
- We have several student societies and clubs in the college as programming club, cultural club, women associating committee, business idea club, presentation club etc.
- Every year there are 5 to 6 festivals in our college which are conducted by both management and students like youth fest, Annual day, cultural fest, farewell, freshers day.
- The life in college is great as it doesn't come back and I got a great experience URCET.

Academics & Faculty : ACADEMIC SCHEDDULE: USHARAMA college of engineering and technology started in the year 2008 affiliated to jntuk.only engineering College which implements WORK-STUDY programme.fclasses are the main attraction of the college with a gallery type seating arrangement and classes are provided with air conditioned and multimedia projectors.the exams are type of sem hence it sonsits of 4 sets and marks alloted for assignments.
