Entrance Exams & Admissions : Basically, you need to clear JEE Advanced exam to enter in any of the IITs. There are only around 10k seats. Cutoffs are different every year but approx 180 marks in exam can land you in a good IIT with a good department.

Academics & Faculty : Teaching qualities are good but professors have pressure due to their research work, so they can't focus only on teaching. But if we say them to teach more efficiently then they give full effort.
