Placements and Internships
- I have done Summer Training in Android App development in CETPA Infotech Private Limited. Sector-2 Noida. It was a 6 week course with extensive training sessions on AndroidStudio 2.1. We got a chance to work on a live project of Railway PNR status enquiry system. I am also doing Core Java and Advance Java from DUCAT Noida.
- The companies that hire from our college campus include Development, Sales and Marketing, Healthcare, Networking etc
- Average Salary= 3 lakhs per annum
- Highest Salary= 10 lakhs per annum in 2015 by IBM
- 70% of eligible students got campus placement in 2015
- AlUMNI Network is very good and vast. Since the start of college in 2001, there are thousands of engineers and MBA people who have passed out.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two hostels in GNIOT. One is a boys hostel and the other one is girls hostel.
- Apart from that GNCT has a good hostel. The hostel fees is 7,000 for non-ac and 8,000 for ac rooms
- In Greater Noida, many good hostel are there like Royal Paradise, Kaushalya, Anandam etc.
- The cost of PG outside college is about 6,000-7,000 per month.
- The food is quite good in college and its expense is included in hostel charges.
- All the classrooms are large in size, with excellent infrastructure.
- All the labs are TCS Certified and have large number of computer systems and other lab equipment even greater than any of the other college in Greater Noida.
- Our college has a big library known as Shri Ram Library.
- Our college has dining hall in Canteen
- Our college provides high Wi-Fi connectivity and data upto 1GB for downloading to every student.
- Our college has lawns with plants and trees and a temple where we can pray.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for a Bachelor Of Technology course in my college is 50% in 10th and 12th both.
- Although I took JEE Mains exam as an entrance test .
Academics and Faculty
- Class timings: 9:15 AM to 4:55 PM but it varies in final year of BTECH.
- Projects: Students need to submit their minor and major project in the end of their 7th and 8th semesters respectively.
- Exams: There are two internal sessional and one Pre University Test before Semester exams
- Assignments: Students are given weekly and monthly assignments
- The quality of teaching is very good. The college is having a nice and experienced pool of qualified faculty who have done either PHD or having a degree of MTech. The teachers teach by using different books from foreign authors and digital electronics.
- The overall experience in college is very good. The college has a conducive environment for studying and has a great ambience overall.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee is about 1,16,000 every year although it varies from year to year.
- UP Government has different scholarship schemes but it is primarily given to students whose family income is less than 6,00,000 per annum.
- Average no. of students who get scholarship is about 100 in college
- Loan can be availed from leading banks like Syndicate bank.
Clubs and Associations
- Our college conducts annual tech fest known as GNIOT TECH SPARX in which a great number of events like Code hunt, code breaking etc.
- Apart from that we have the mindblowing Gniot fest known as FUSION in which the college management invites popular singers like Honey singh, Alfaaz, Raftaar etc
- Our college has societies like Samvedna etc for helping poor and the needy.
- Our college also has GNIOT TECH CLUB
- Our college also organizes Annual Sports fest in which many games are played by college students like cricket, football, hockey, kabaddi, kho-kho.
- Life is college is cool but students should be disciplined and study hard.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There is two type of admission that takes place 1. Counselling and 2. Direct. I got a direct admission through this college. I got 78% in 12th class from CBSE board and I give a test in the college. I also gave an entrance exam UPTU and I have a 10k rank in UPTU exam. Cut-off In this college ,if you got 60k rank easily get an admission. Direct admission min. You should have 75 % at least on the school board.
