• There are No UG hostels on campus, ample places outside campus.
• Meals are usually Rs. 60/- a plate, but are more than worth the cost.
• High speed internet and WiFi is available at Institute of Technology but, registration is Mandatory. Top notch infrastructure. Clean class rooms & multiple auditoriums. Well equipped laboratories.

Eligibility set via ACPC ranking for half the seats & others taken via JEE-main scores. Cutoffs at Institute of Technology vary year to year, best to check the college site or contact admissions department.

The way the academics are setup in Nirma is bound to keep you in your toes.

• A typical day at Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad begins at 9:00 am or 11:15 am, going on till 4:15 pm or 6 pm. 6 hours of studies with nearly 2 hours every day of lab work. All the fun repeats 5 days a week & Saturdays may or may not have classes scheduled depending on which semester you are currently in. This leaves you with two break spanning 25 mins (10:50-11:15) & 45 mins (1:15 pm - 2pm) to complete the schedule.
• Each class is extremely important at Institute of Technology as professors work hard to sum up material from several books & from several years of their experience teaching the subject. Students are encouraged to take up projects as a part of the curriculum from semester- 3.
• The focus is to try as far as possible to bridge the gap between theory & practice. Whether it be done via simulations & softwares or by actual hardware based work.

• The course fees for Institute of Technology is revised regularly, best to check the college website for it.
• Scholarships are awarded by either merit (at the time of admission) or by merit-cum-means. The second option is for those students whose parents' annual income is less than a specified amount (revised annually for each new batch, but kept constant for existing students).
• Loans can be availed.

Abundant student societies are there at Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. May leave students confused as to which 'one' to join & highly likely (& recommended) to join multiple clubs. Several annual festivals other than native fests of the college. Nearly every branch has one & every student organization has another.
