Placements and Internships
- I have done my internship at IBM,Hyderabad in Big data and Hadoop. Thus student has to apply for the internship online in order to get one.
- Many Companies visit our campus for placement like Bosch,Moodle, Asian Paint, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Accenture, SAP, ADP, Vedanta,and much more.
- The average salary is about 3.5lakh per annum.
- About 90% of the student placed last year i.e.2015.
- Alumni Network is strong. The college organizes many events for alumni to keep them in touch like Annual Alumni Meet.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two boys and two girls hostel. The hostel fee is around 1000 per month.
- There are options for PG nearby but the cost is around 5000-6000 per month.
- Food served in college is good. Every day, we have non-veg. There is also veg meals mostly planner for vegetarians.
- The wifi is the best I liked about my college. the average speed is about 1 Mbps and unlimited for a student. The infrastructure is good but needs improvement. The government is funding money to improve the same. It's most likely around 2019, the college will have a very good infrastructure.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The Eligibility criteria are as follow:-
- Student must have at least 60% in STD XII.
- He/She must have given the AIEEE Exam
- A student willing to take admission into College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar needs to give the AIEEE exam.
- The cutoff for Computer Science and Engineering is around 15000-28000.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timing is from 10 am to 4 pm. There are two internal, each of 15 marks, conducted during a semester. It is two-semester in a year. the assignment is given at regular interval. There are two projects namely minor and major which the student have to do in his/her last year.
- The teaching is good. The teacher is highly qualified and friendly in nature. There are facilities like the smart classroom, e-journals for the student. Sometimes the teacher also interacts with the student with projectors and slides.
- My experience in college is awesome and something that I can never forget. It is one of my best moment in life. I really enjoyed a lot here and at the same time learning a lot.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fee is comparatively low. It is around 80,500 per annum.
- Many scholarships are available for the student like Medhabruti, CSSS (Central Sector Scheme Scholarship) , CET Merit Scholarship.
- CET Merit scholarship is given to top 10% student of every branch of every year. Medhabruti is given to whose parent annual income is below 6 lakhs and student must have good GPA.
- Loans are available by banks at ease. Many banks like Syndicate, SBI have tied up with the college for providing loans to needy students. They provide loans at a nominal rate of interest.
Clubs and Associations
- There are a lot of clubs there to indulge students in various activities like there are clubs for literary, sports, Technical clubs, clubs for music and art. There are some of the society like CET Photofactory(Photography Society). Mostly there are two fests, one is technical and other is cultural. There are a lot of other events arranged by the college for entertaining student and refreshing their mood.
- My life in college is awesome. I learned a lot and at the same time enjoyed a lot. I have a good bunch of people around me so called friends, they are the one who made my life full of fun and amusement. I am very happy for the college and feeling lucky and proud to get this college to pursue my undergraduate.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : College of engineering and technology, Bbsr is a reputated government college with very good faculty members and hostel facilities for both boys nd girls. For getting into this college, first, we need to qualify joint entrance examination (JEE MAIN) securing good rank. It's not that easy to get a seat in such a reputed college.
