Placement at VIT is not upto the mark. An average salary of about 3 lakhs is not sufficient. Plus not everyone gets a job on campus.
The infrastructure of VIT is great but ragging takes place very often and it's very disturbing.
If your rank is under 130, then you can easiy secure a seat at VIT.
VIT has a very strict take on attendance. The classes are all right and if you pay attention during the class, passing the exam is very easy.
Fee structure for VIT is very high and keeps incresing every year. You might need to take up student loans eventually.
There are about 23 clubs and growing in VIT. A variety of competitions like dancing, drama and singing are hosted every year at the campus.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : This is a very good college specially in terms of the faculty members. The course I'hv opted for is BE in computer engineering which had a cut off of 92% in MH-CET exam and a rank of somewhere around 65k in JEE Mains.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : For an open category student, securing an MH CET score of 110+ will get you into this college for Electronics and Telecommunication. Once you get this college in your CAP round, the procedure is to go to the college, submit your documents, fill one form and one undertaking. The process is completed within a day.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Need a good score in MAH CET usually of 125+. I joined using my JEE MAIN cutoff score of 132/360.
