This college is mainly known for its placements and the key companies that hire are Microsoft, eBay, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant, Flipkart, Snapdeal and many more.

• There are 4 hostel for boys and 1 big hostel for girls. PGs are easily available around the campus in a distance 5 km.
• The food served is hygienic and nutritious and it may costs around Rs. 35 - 40 per meal. It ia quite cheap compared to other options.
• College has an amazing 600 MBPS speed of wifi enabled in the campus. Student are allowed to download 1 GB of data every day and the browsing allowed is unlimited.

For the entrance in the college you have two options one is through JEE mains and the other is through Management quota. Each of the Btech streams contains as much as 250-300 seats.

• Classes are regularly from 9:30 to 4:30 which includes 1 hour of lunch break.
• The college has good infrastructure with many sport facilities such as football ground, badminton hall and many more. The teaching methodology is average at the best. Being affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Kapurthala. The syllabus is not very well updated to the latest available ones.
• College has a good record of placements. This year 469 companies visited the campus of the CGC Landran, Mohali. College has international clubs such as ACS, SAE and many more. Several workshops and guest lectures from IIT's and NIT's are organised too.
• The college is famous for its national level techno cultural fest, Parivartan

• Course fee is divided into 8 semesters which makes the payment bit easier for the parents. The Semester fee for Btech is around 43000 - 46000.
• Scholarships are provided by the PTU itself, college scholarships are also given for gold medalist students.
• This year students were provided with the laptops and cash prices. Some may find the fee structure high and may have an option to take an education loan. Getting that is quite easy as the college has a good reputation.

• There are many departmental clubs and international as well as national clubs namely Mechnorobs, SAE, ACS and many more.
• Parivartan is the annual cultural and technical fest usually held in the month of October and November.
• Life at the college is awesome and some students may find it tiring if you are a fresher.
