Placements and Internships

4

  • Colleges don't put much efforts for internships as usually it is not considered but some advantage is always there.
  • For placements, university central placement cell as well each colleges' placement cell work really hard for final year students.
  • Usually average salary package is around Rs 5-6 lakhs per annum and highest package goes around Rs 40-45 lakhs per annum.
  • Alumni network is useful but not exactly only for placements.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4.5

  • College and university provides all the facilities which is required by students but hostel is not available in south campus. And even in north campus fees of hostel is nominal. But other good options are available for students.
  • Talking of infrastructure in D.U is a joke. All the colleges have very old buildings. Delhi itself is a cojusted city.

  • In 2012, the eligibility criteria was cut-off published by University.
  • There were no entrance exam for B.Com(hons) as admission is done on the basis of 12th percentage but there is entrance for BBS,BBE and BFIA.
  • Usually first cut-off list has highest of 99% and gradually goes down depending upon availaibility of seats in respective colleges.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

  • Routines are different for each college in university.
  • Method of teaching is basic, using board and chalk mostly but Quality is amazing as faculty is experienced and interactive.
  • Overall college was good and joyful

  • No loans are needed in general.

Academics & Faculty : I started studying at college of  vocational studies in 2014, in the course b.com (h). Since then the daily routine of college has been more or less the same. Classes start at 9:00 am and towards the end of the semester classes on go till 3:00 p.m, with breaks in between. We are given projects and assignments on regular basis to maintain our academic score.  The quality and method of teaching is very good. Teachers pay attention to the problems and also help in better understanding of the subject.   My overall experience in college has been very good and also I have learned many things  in the society of management.
