College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Only about 200 vacancies in the hostel (that too, only boys). Which sucks, considering there are nearly 5000 UG students.
- Loads of PG/Hostel facilities available within one km of college
- Food is good, filling and cheap. (Rs 35 per meal can stuff you up)
- Infrastructure in blocks A and B need major repairs, which is going on
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- My admission was based on my HSC percentage.
- I got in on the 3rd cut off- 95℅ (PCM) There is a crapload of reservation, which utterly sucks, so get ready to be pissed off at politicians for playing vote bank politics.
Academics and Faculty
- Timings are a bit heavy, worst case scenario is 0840 to 1700 hrs. But usually classes ends much sooner. Enough breaks in between.
- Teachers are good
Fees and Scholarships
- Fees is under Rs 20000 per annum.
- A number of students can also apply for scholarships.
Clubs and Associations
- Every type of society you can possibly think of, from music to drama to environment to culinary arts (first of its kind in DU) Even has an independent newspaper, Vision. Societies make college life fun.
