Anushka Srivastava's Review on Ramjas College, Delhi University

Ramjas is among the oldest colleges of DU. The faculty here is really good. The placement society of Ramjas, Enactus is really good. It provides experience to the students. Students are in the top companies who have passed out from here. All over its an amazing feeling to be a Ramjasite. Students have brought pride to the college and I am extremely privileged to be a part of Ramjas

• Students don't get hostel easily,which made me go for a PG. Friends say that hostel is good too and safety is taken into consideration for every student.
• There are many areas around the college which have PGs and of reasonable costs. The area is safe for girls and me personally never feel unsafe here.
• The canteen of Ramjas is ok. The food is not expensive but the quality of the food must be improved a little bit. We can boast about everything in the college,but not the canteen. It costs only Rs 25-30 per meal. During elections, one of the candidates brought a lot of improvement for canteen food by his and his fellow member's efforts.
• Being among the oldest colleges if DU, Ramjas has an old infrastructure which is being renovated now. The college is under construction and a new building is being made. The building looks beautiful from the front and greenery inside the college makes it more attractive. The classes are also accommodable with proper electricity and seats.Wi-fi password and identity is different for every student hence securing from the security point of view. Library is really rich in extraordinary books. Students are always found in great number in the library since it provides us with every book we want. The system of the library is smooth and quite strict too. The girls common room is good. The amphie theatre is beautiful and the ECA room is also good. I love the campus as a whole.

• The admission is done on merit basis, through ECA and Sports quotas. Students scoring good marks gets admission in Ramjas. I took my admission purely on merit basis and didn't have to give any test.
• Every year the cut off goes high. Students wait for the lists in which they can find their cut-offs and directly take admissions. There are proper trials and tests for students coming through ECA and Sports.  Our cut off started from 96 in history hons. Generally cut offs are above 95 for history hons. Other courses too have high cut offs.

• The faculty in Ramjas is extremely good. The professors are so knowledgeable and experienced, which is reflected in their way of teaching. I am from history honours and my faculty is the best in all over DU. The other departments to have best professors. The daily routine is not at all exhausting. Students are given break after classes.
• The method of teaching is smooth and very interesting. Teachers cooperate with the students and help them a lot. The teach us good morals and we enjoy it a lot.  The quality of teaching is very good and students easily understand what is being taught.I am extremely happy to be a Ramjasite and every day is a good experience here. There are things happening in the college of student's interests. The crowd here is mixed hence bringing diversity. The college is rich in greenery too.
• I personally feel proud to be proud of Ramjas college.

• The fee of the college is quite reasonable and students can afford it. Its Rs 9,826 per year for history honours course.
• Underprivileged students are also given scholarships here.
• Loans are also provided easily to the students after they apply for it. Although the administration process is slow in Ramjas, students don't find difficulty regarding loans.

• Societies in Ramjas has extremely talented students,be it the Backbeat-music society,Rampage-fashion society,Wordcraft-literary society,Focus-photography society,Spicmacy-fine arts society,Shunya-dramatics society,Enactus-placement cell society,debating society,NSS and department societies too. We also have one society which is working on the 100th year celebration of the college named Centennial. Shunya is known as the best society of dramatics all over DU. Students get a lot of exposure here and they get the best platform to show their skills, creativity, talent, and intelligence here.
• The main fest of the college is MOSAIC which is super amazing and students enjoy a lot here since they wait for it so eagerly. The main department fest of history hons is Had-Anhad which is also very good. College is full of joy and excitement on the fest day.
• The college life is veru extra ordinary,students get alot to experience and they are so much excited about things happening here. The college welcomes guests from different spheres and we come to witness beautiful things in those functions. College is full of life and amusement with the best faculties and great crowd. I personally feel extremely happy to be a Ramjasite.
