- So many big Pharma companies each year recruit students from the Jadavpur University.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- I don't stay in hostels, but as it is a state govt. university the hostel fees and the meal charge is very much lower.
- The food quality in the canteens is very good and healthy.
- The classrooms are good and the labs are equipped with all the modern infrastructure.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria is that a student must be a B.Pharm graduate and must crack GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) with good rank to participate in the admission process of M.Pharm of Jadavpur University.
- GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) entrance exam. It is held every year by AICTE.
- Cut-off varies every year, it is an exam of total 500 marks, cutoff varies from 115-130
Academics and Faculty
- Class time is from 10am to 5.30pm.
- The quality of teaching is awesome with theory classes and a lot of equipment to have smooth practical experience.
- The college experience is awesome, when I started my B.Pharm I always had a dream of doing the postgraduate in Jadavpur University. The teacher are so much friendly and kind.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course Fee is Rs 5000 per year
- All the students get Rs 12400 per month as a scholarship from AICTE
- No loans needed as the course fee is very student-friendly.
Clubs and Associations
- As all JU is famous for its cultural activities. Sanskriti, Fetsu, and other departmental programmes and a lot cultural activities happen each year.
