Hostel facility is good. Food given in the mess is very nice. It (hostel plus mess) cost around Rs 25000 per year.
Classrooms and labs are in good condition. Research labs are there for material science and nuclear physics, which are open 20 hours a day.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
One has to clear IIT-JAM entrance exam( Joint admission for M. Sc) for admission. Counselling is online and you get admission on the basis of your ranking or score.

Talking about the routine, lectures(plus tutorials) are in the morning session and labs are in the evening session. Assignments that are given are comprehensive.
