Placements and Internships
- Not a very decent scope for internships in UG courses. College does not arrange anything in this matter. Students have to look for opportunities off campus.
- Although not a very high placement record only mass recruiters of IT field invite students for their off campus drive (TCS, WIPRO etc)
- Average salary package is around Rs 3 LPA.
- Though many noted alumnis are there, there is not a very well defined network to connect to them. There are no alumni meets.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are presently 5 boys hostels ( 1 for each year b.tech and one for pg courses ) and 2 girls hostels.
- Food is average and costs around Rs 12 thousand per semester. (all 3 meals )
- College has a huge 240 acre campus which is not very well maintained. Condition of classes is also below average.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- It is an autonomous college under Abdul Kalam Technical University( Formerly UPTU ). It has UG and PG courses in technological fields and MBA.
- Admissions to Btech in all 7 branches is done through the counselling of UPSEE exam conducted by uptu every year.
- Typical cut off rank for general category is 5000 and below.
Academics and Faculty
- Class timings are 9 AM - 4 PM. Although there are very rare full busy days, students get enough free time.
- Quality and method of teaching can be regarded as below average.
- Overall it is nice for students who want to do self study.
Fees and Scholarships
- Being a fully government-funded institute, the fee structure is very affordable. Average fee for UG courses is Rs 65 thousand per year (including hostel)
- Economically weaker students can get scholarships provided by the government.
- Almost all students matching the criteria for the scholarship receive the same.
Clubs and Associations
- There are few councils like cultural, fine art and hobbies, literary etc of which students can be a part of.
- Councils organise many events year round and UTSAV is the annual cultural fest. PACE is the annual sports fest. ABHINANDAN is the freshers party.
- College life is generally nice.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for admission in this college are pretty vague but you have to be under 4000 all-state rank if you are general category student. I used the vague term because the examination cutoff might change for each year, therefore, rank might differ. My rank was around 3600. In case you are reserved category student then 10k+ rank students can also join it. I took UPSEE exam for entrance. It covers many colleges of the state.

For 12 students and there is also an option of btech lateral entry specially for diploma or bsc students can apply for leet..according to there rank they secured the college as per there preference and rank.
