Placements and Internships
- Well in NIT, I got my internship into a good company, it was arranged by one of my professors.
- Believe me, all kind of companies come to NIT for the placements.
- The average salary package can range from Rs 3.5 LPA to Rs 12 LPA, but could go beyond.
- Alumni network is not so good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- For boys there are 7 + 2 hostels, and 3 for girls. hostel fee is included in that Rs 4.5 Lakh as I told earlier.
- Food is great.
- Classrooms are good. WIFI is absent
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- During my time, the eligibility criteria was AIEEE entrance exam through which I took admission in NIT Jalandhar. Now it's through JEE.
- You need a decent rank to get admission into it.
Academics and Faculty
- Daily routine is good, class timing are from 8:30am to 5:30pm but you get enough time free in between. Exams are not to worry as you can get through even by last night study.
- Teaching is good.
- It was an awesome experience in NIT.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee was Rs. 4.5 Lakhs for four years of study.
- College does not provide any kind of scholarship but you can arrange from state government from where you belong.
Clubs and Associations
- You can join clubs like dramatics, literary etc.
- They work for all tech fest and cultural fest.
- Believe me, tech fest and cultural fest are the best time you enjoy.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To eligible for this course u first have to clear joint entrance exam (jee main) conducted by CBSE. with a decent rank. u will get into this by getting above cut off marks for respective of category
Entrance Exams & Admissions : There were 2 set of papers that were taken into account i.e 10+2 board exams and JEE mains exams. the weight age of 10+2 marks was 40% and that of jee mains exams was 60%. based on your performance in both of these exams u get a specific college jee mains 113/360 to qualify for jee advance (to get into IIT's)

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for the admissions are JEE mains paper passed. Actually, admissions are done by Josaa which is the online platform for admission to many colleges. There is a different cut off for different categories like for SC the cutoff generally are 50 to 55 numbers in JEE, but for general, there is 100 to 110 and for BC there is 70 to 75.
