- Average salary is Rs 6.82 LPA (official) and Highest domestic is Rs 44 LPA (Schlumburger) and Percentage placement: 85-90%.
- Alumni network: One of the largest among Indian institutes. Extremely well connected.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostels and accommodation facilities are well built and maintained.
- Food and mess is hygienic and lot of variety across Pan-Indian cuisines since there are students from all across the country.
- Good infrastructure, Mess is decent too.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The Eligibility criteria is clearing BITSAT, an online national engineering entrance examination. Standard JEE-level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with basic English proficiency.
- At my time of admission, only students with >80% in P,C,M were eligible for the entrance exam.
- Cutoffs are typically on the higher side, and increasing significantly each year owing to a greater number of aspirants, awareness about various courses and past record of previous batches at BITS.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily Routine could be hectic. But relaxed life owing to 0% attendance rule
- Method is state of the art, quality is decent.
- Very good experience.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is approx Rs 2.5 LPA.
- Various scholarships available based on merit, performance as well as need.
- 30-40 scholarships are available each semester for the students
Clubs and Associations
- Lots of clubs and departments, very vibrant culture and life. Awesome culture, brilliantly maintained batch after batch.
- Enjoyable experience.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for a bachelor degree at Birla Institute of Technology and Science is that you should pass out 12th. Admission procedure is too easy fully online. Only you can get admission based on BITSAT. The cutoff for electronics and electrical was 363 and for electronics and instrument was 345.
