College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- As I am day scholar. I don't know about the hostels but according to my friends, there are 4 hotels 2 for boys and 2 for girls and each room provided by a high-speed wifi and food is also good. The fees of the hostel are affordable at Utkal university, Bhubaneshwar.
- About classrooms. we have AC classrooms and computer labs and library also have AC. we do have a WiFi connection in our classrooms which is pretty fast.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- 50% minimum in 10+2 level is the eligibility criteria at Utkal university, Bhubaneshwar.
- Entrance test will be conducted by the school of Mathematics-Statistics-computer (2.00PM - 4.00PM) on the following topics. 1. Mathematics - 40% 2. Business Mathematics - 10% 3. Probability and statistics - 10% 4. Computer awareness - 10% 5. Mental Ability - 30%. The questions shall be of objective types. Number of seats: The no of seats in the course is 60. The seats will be filled up as per merit list of entrance examination. Admission: Selected candidates for admission will be called by an intimation letter. Admission will be done on 3rd week of July (tentatively). For the sponsored course the reservation and weightage policy as have been accepted by the P.G. council shall be followed in respect of candidates belonging to the SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Children of Ex or In service men/Sports personnel categories. Categories: The following table furnishes the categories: 1. Scheduled Caste 2. Scheduled Tribe 3. Child of Ex service man 4. Child of serving defence personnel 5. Physically handicapped candidate 6. Sports/Games personnel 7. General category
Academics and Faculty
- Our class starts from 8 o'clock morning to and finished at 1 p.m at Utkal university, Bhubaneshwar.
- The teaching process is very good and the professor is friendly. Yes, they give homework assignments. They give notes too. I like the teaching process of C programming, Computer Organisation, discrete maths especially English. The lecture of Prof and English teachers which will be very much useful for our future, we don't need to go to English classes like spoken English to develop our communication skills
- I would like to say utkal university gave me a Ray of Hope to achieve the success. It's like a chance of opportunity that utkal university gave me even I had poor marks. I like my college very much.

- The Utkal university, Bhubaneshwar college fees is like Rs 125000 for 5 years and they are paid in 5 years. I paid Rs 40,000 this year.
- Yes, the scholarships options are available. As I am fresher I don't know what are the options for scholarships but it's available
Clubs and Associations
- Utkal University do have student societies. The students of the college are very friendly.
- The college celebrates almost all festivals in a nice manner.
