Placements and Internships

3.5

  • Various companies like Wipro, TCS comes for the recruitment

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

  • The college has a girls hostel on campus.
  • There is no hostel for the boys and so they have to find accommodations at PGs and Flats around the campus. The PGs cost anywhere between Rs 3000/- pm to Rs 8,000/-per month depending on the luxury you want.
  • The college has about 6-7  canteens including Coffer Day Express, Nescafe canteen and other canteens.
  • The campus is very well maintained and clean with WIFI connectivity all around.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • Bharati Vidyapeeths College of Engineering is affiliated to GGSIPU and the eligibility for admission is through IPUCET
  • The entrance exam for GGSIPU. I took the IPUCET exam in 2014 and got admission through the same exam.
  • For my course, i.e. computer science engineering the typical cutoffs are around 4000 in IPUCET.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

  • The College begins at 8:40 am for the first shift till 4:30pm in the evening. The second shifts have timings from 10:30am- 6:30 pm.
  • The college has a decent faculty with sound knowledge of their subjects.

Fees and Scholarships

3.5

  • The Course fee is Rs 90,062 per annum for B.tech Discipline. You have a choice to pay it through loans.
  • As such the college does not offer any scholarships to students but if you have a scholarship from any other organisation, then it counts.
  • The college has a bank on the campus which also provides loans.

Clubs and Associations

3.5

  • The campus boasts many societies on the campus and each society is very active with events all around the year with great participation.
  • The college organises a tech fest in October and Cultural fest in March (which is biannual- the weak point) apart from many fests organised by the individual societies.
  • The college life is just average as the attendance issues always discourage students to enjoy their college life and live freely.
