Placements and Internships
- I have done my internship in J&K under JKPCC LTD. It was a construction of four storey building and I gained a lot of knowledge about construction. I have also worked in Intravo for more than a month
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Infrastructure is very nice here in our collage and here are 6 hostels in which 2 are for girls. Hostel fee per month is Rs 9000.
- PG are kinda same as of hostel rate but flats are cheaper. I am staying in flat and I am paying Rs 7500 per month.
- Food is below average and it may cost around Rs 40 per meal.
- Classrooms and all are good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- 65% is eligibility criteria for admission in PCM for BTECH civil.
- I took JKCET and AIEEE examination for the admission. Below 5 CGPA there is year back.
Academics and Faculty
- Class timing is 8:45 am to 4:05pm with some breaks. We also get projects in last year and exams are semester wise.
- The Quality of teaching is average.
- It was pretty good to study here and to interact with different people.
Fees and Scholarships
- Rs 1,38,000 is the tuition fee per year at Sharda University.
- University is providing 20% scholarship for 9 pointer students
Clubs and Associations
- We have some good student societies here in college and student presidents are also elected.
- Chorus is the main festival of our university.
- Life in college in general, is average.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for getting in Sharda University for Civil Engineering is quite clear and sorted. Below are the things you will need to be handy: 10th Mark sheet with an average of 60% marks 12th Mark sheet with PCB/M/Computers with an average of 70% marks. Remember you should have at least 50% marks in Mathematics. Scorecard of JEE with a rank up to 3 lakhs or UPSEE with a rank up to 50,000. If you don't have any of these, you will have to appear in SUAT (Sharda University Entrance Examination) and have to clear it at least 60%. And, it will be followed by a Personal Interview. If you fit in all the aspects mentioned above, you are fit to get enrolled in B.Tech Civil Engineering at Sharda University.
Academics & Faculty : The class timing is 9 AM to 4 PM. The teaching method and quality is good and notes are given. Over all experience is excellent.
