Placements and Internships
- If you are a B.tech guy then in every branch you will get good opportunity to get placed in good companies. But if you are from M.tech then you should be from C.S branch for other brances placements are very less.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Infrastructure is very awesome you can see the infrastructure snaps on google and on its official website. It has india 2nd largest campus with very good infrastructure. Almost every playing facility is available for you.
Academics and Faculty
- Class timings in Nit Rourkela is very strict. It starts with early morning for engineering students (8:00)am regularly and every one needs to attend the class you cant bunk because of the strict rules.
Fees and Scholarships
- If you are a M.tech scholar then you will get a stipend of Rs 12400 per month. For the first year you need to do the T.A work but in Second year you have alloted a lab where you need to assist the students this is manadatory for every student.
Clubs and Associations
- So many clubs and associations which may help you to go ahead in your interest. Some clubs are Swimming club, Tennis club, football and etc.

Academics & Faculty : Daily routine- Class timings usually starts at 8:00 am daily, through out academic year. There used to be continous evalutation of students knowledge through a pattern of daily assignments, semester projects, mid semester and end semester where students will always trying to learn something daily effectively. Quality of Teaching- Professors are of quite knowledged they will help in every single issue. Education wise institute is of one of top quality with motive of students success in education.
