College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostels are available. Hostel rent is Rs 5400 per semester.
- Food quality is ok. Even there is no proper drinking water facility in college itself.
- Infrastructure is below average.
Academics and Faculty
- Daily routine is packed. we have much classes and some times extra class are also taken. assignments are provided, but the project work is not encouraged and midsems and sems conducted.
- The quality and method of teaching varies from one teacher to other, most of them are dedicated. Our college lacks proper infrastructure and no other extra curricular activities takes place.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee is Rs 54000 per year.
- Only the reserved categories whose annual income less than 1 lakhs per annum are given scholarships.
- 4 to 5 students get scholarships.
- Loans are needed.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : University Institute of Technology, Burdwan is affiliated to The University of Burdwan. It offers 2 courses Bachelor in Engineering and Master in Engineering. It generally accept student from WBJEE rank and JEE Mains rank. As far as eligibility criteria is concerned a student must have a consistent academic record and must have secured above 50% marks in 10+2 with mathematics as a subject of study. The cutoff is really volatile in nature as it depends on WBJEE rank and JEE Mains rank but if your rank is within 5000 to 6000 you can get any branch of your desire.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I had to appear in WBJEE to get admission into UIT. The cut-offs for ECE in UIT was between 7000 & 8000(not sure about that).
