This time, the campus recruitment was quite good with an average salary being INR 5.8 lpa in mechanical engineering dept alone. Highest was from CS being about INR 32 lpa. There is good alumni network known as GAABESU
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostels are quite cheap costing about INR 3,000/- per month and for staying outside, it costs about INR 4,000/- per month including food. Food quality is great with each meal costing about Rs.50. There is a three storied library. There is WiFi in all classrooms and hostels. The fluidics laboratory is considered the largest in Asia.
Academics and Faculty
Class starts from 8:00AM and continues till 4:00 PM with a break in between and it also includes workshops, labs etc. There are assignments as well as class tests. Just plain blackboard and chalk is enough for the good faculty and quality teaching. Academics is good.
Fees and Scholarships
Fee structure is as per MHRD which is presently 1.2 lpa as tuition fees. Mess fees is extra. Loans readily available from any nationalised bank.. GAABESU scholarship available for deserving students.
