Placements and Internships

4

  • Many core companies come for campus placement in this college from almost every sector i.e. IT, manufacturing, electrical, computer, finance etc. like L&T, Godrej, Morgan, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, IBM and many other local companies.
  • Average salary is Rs. 3.2 lakhs per annum. The highest salary is Rs. 13.5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of eligible students placed is about 75%.
  • There is an annual alumni meet in the college.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

  • There is only one hostel for boys which is far from the college but travelling is not an issue as many students come together and the timing is same. Hostel fees is around Rs. 1 lakh per annum.
  • There are many other PG options near the college. The cost is almost same if we live in a group of 4-5 people and some times cheaper.
  • The food in college canteen is the worst, it is good to cook by your own or eat outside the college.
  • Quality of the classrooms, labs and library are good and well-maintained. There is wifi on every floor but it needs and acess permission. The college has 6 lifts and a very spacious auditorium, a football ground, and a good view of sealink. This college has the biggest workshop.

Academics and Faculty

3

  • The daily routine seems quite obvious since we are doing engineering but with the daily classes and assignments become a headache. However the practical part is fun and it is a good experience.
  • Teachers are quite good in their respective fields but the portion that we study is far back from the modern technology, it needs an upgrade.
  • The subjects that we study are very good but due to assignments and writing work colleges dont care whether they are completing their portion in class or not, they just need assignments on time.

Fees and Scholarships

4

  • The course fee is almost 1,20.000 per year and it increases every year.
  • 3 main scholarship options are available to students - Minority Scholarship, Economical Backward Class i.e. E.B.C, Tata Scholarship.
  • For all the above scholarships you need the income certificate.
  • Some students cant afford such a high fees. Loans are easily availabe but there is a lot of paperwork involved. Almost all the banks give Education Loan but it is better to take loan from a government bank.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

  • There are many student associations in the college like student council, society of automoblie engg (SAE), SME, ASME,etc. Also technical teams like aero, pravega aabadha and robocon.
  • There are two main festivals in this college - Crescendo - college technical festival and Euphoria- college cultural festival.
  • The life in this college is very good as compared to other colleges in Mumbai university, the teachers are very helpful too.
