Placements and Internships
- Placement record of college is very good and has been improving fastly over years. College has a vey dynamic,efficient and supportive person as Training and Placement Officer. Core mechanical companies like Mercedes Benz, KPIT, Behr,etc. select many students mainly for design category in mechanical enginnering department.
- Average salary is Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum.
- Alumni and student interaction programmes are also arranged each year.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- College hostel facility is not much satisfactory.
- Food in the college canteen is not so good. It costs paltry Rs.50 per meal, but quality of food is mediocre.
- Classrooms are sufficiently large,airy and LCD facility is provided in each classroom. College does not have Wi-Fi facility for students and its a major setback in the college.
Academics and Faculty
- Talking about acdemical facilities and faculty qualification, I wouid like to rate PCCOE 8 on scale of 10. But all is not well in the college as students have to face lots of assignments,unit tests and submissions within a shorter deadline. Many teachers are highly qualified and supportive. College has well equipped laboratories almost for every core subject. Only setback that I can point is that college does not give students freedom to learn their way and always try to impose their schemes. College timings are also longer than required.
Fees and Scholarships
- General college fee for OPEN category students is Rs.88,210 per annum for engineering stream.
- Backward class and minority students are given exemption in fees. College also has a scheme for economically backward family background students.
Clubs and Associations
- College students participate in many national level events such as SAE BAJA ,SAE SUPRA,ROBOCON,etc. to name a few. A technical event called TECHLIGENT is arranged each year but it is poorly managed and many restrictions are imposed on students by the college. College interferes too much in student associations and clubs. College football team is very good and wins many local tournaments each year but college does not supports any sport activities.
- Overall PCCOE students feel like they are learning in a STRICT ENGINEERING SCHOOL.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The entrance exam for the 2014 batch, i.e for our batch it was JEE. The cut was quite high for mechanical in PCCOE. But from 2015 CET came into picture again.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I passed my HSC in 2014. At that time, the eligibility criteria for the PCCOE was based on both the JEE score as well as HSC score. The cruteria was about 85% while considering both the things. I had given JEE mains to qualify for the engineering cutoff. If you want a school life back, join PCCOE!
