Placements and Internships
- Being the college in urban area a lot of recruiters needs interns,so getting an internship from the college is easy.
- Standards of placements are on the lower side. College either organise pool or get an arrangment for walk-in in recruiter office itself. Handfull of good companies are visiting for the recruitment process like TCS,Infosys others are the local owned companies with good packages.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The college provides good arrangments for the student in case of living and it is of higher standards. Good bedding arrangments and cleaniness is uncomplainable. The hostel fee is Rs. 1,20,000/- for an year with great food which you can't complain about.
- You don't have to bother about food when you are in such prime location in Mumbai. There is Dominos,Mc donalds,Faasos and many other great restaurant around you.
- The labs are well equipped and most of them are air conditioned.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily college life is good you can enjoy the college time with your friends.The lectures are designed for the studious persons each of 2 hrs and schedule is quite hectic for a day for around 9am-5pm lectures.
- The college has got experienced faculty as the college is established in 1984.They have good teaching experience and helps to understand the topics with deep interest.
- In my view the engineering is worth here as in academics but you can have the practical knowledge with the societies working in the college like IEEE,ASME,BAHA,AEROSOLES etc. Its great to have a degree from M.U and a good college life here.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fee is competitive with the other college in Mumbai which is around Rs. 1,05,000 per annum and with the increase of 8% every year from the start of the first year.
- The college is basically Muslim Minority. Every other student which belongs to a minority religion in India get an annual scholarship of Rs. 25,000 per annum either from the state govt. or the central govt.
- Scholarship is basically for all the minority religion but not for the others. Mostly people get scholarships that way only.
Clubs and Associations
- As I mentioned there are lots of societies working in my college Like ASME IEEE BAHA SUPERA and many more you participate in there events and programmes.
- You can enjoy the college life with lots of friends around with a lots of IV,powerpack studies,great location,healty learning enviorment and its memorable for thr life time experience
