Placements and Internships
- Neither i got any stipend and nor any other student from the college under my knowledge.
- There are many software company like TCS,infosys,mindtree as well as core company like johnson came for placements.
- The maximum package a student get this year is about Rs 7.5 lakhs per annum but average figure is about Rs 3.3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. This year the placements of student is higher as compared to last year. Its about 60 to 65%.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are four boys hostel and two girls hostel inside the college campus. The facility inside the hostels good enough. Hostel will have wifi facility as well as gym. Food in the hostel is quite decent. hostel fees is about Rs 4000 per month.
- The PGs outside the college are also very good alternatives and it is in the range of Rs 3500 per month to Rs 6500 per month as per the facility and other parameters.
- Infrastructure wise college will have all the necessary thing like wifi,library,car parking,bike parking,canteen,gym etc.
Academics and Faculty
- Classes starts from 9:30AM upto 5PM in the evening. Two unit test will happen in between each semester. Every teachers in our department and in other department are not up to marks but there are still some teacher who teach exceptionally well. Lab assistant and other teaching staff as well as librarian are very helpful.
Fees and Scholarships
- Fees is about Rs 75 to 80 thousand per year.
- I dont find any scholarship option here.
- A scholarship for minorities have been issued by the government which can be helpful for muslims and sc st student of west bengal state.
- If loan is been needed by any student it can be easily available by various bank like panjab national bank,uco bank,state bank etc.
Clubs and Associations
- There are various clubs like cultural club named kasar ,ED cell(enterprener development),EI cell,robotics club are made and are fully functional.
- Every year techfest and cultural fest is been organized.
- Life all around the college is positive as people around this college are helpful and positive and the other facilities are good.As the college is in the corner of the city,there is less noise and pollution.hospitals,malls,markets are closer as well.The place is good for studying and exploring yourself.
