Placements and Internships
- Since I am in the very first year, so I couldn't get any paid scholarship.
- blue chip companies like GOOGLE ,FACEBOOK,MICROSOFT,SANDISK,ONGC,PWC,NESTLE and many more.
- average salary at DTU is about Rs 13 lakhs per annum , highest was Rs 1.27 CRORE by GOOGLE, placement at DTU is 100%.
- we have a strong alumni like Vinod Dham (INTEL), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (founder Paytm), Pravin Sinha (co-founder Jabong), Paras Chopra (Founder & CEO Of Wingify)and many more entrepreneurs and civil officers.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 6 hostels in DTU, the hostel conditions are average, but fee is Rs 30,000 per annum.
- PGs are quite expensive ranging from 5,000 to 12000 per month.
- Food is good at college a meal for a student costs about Rs 40-60.
- Classrooms are quite big, well furnished, air-conditioned,wifi enabled. Dtu has a 3 storey library with more than 5,00,000 books.
Academics and Faculty
- My daily routine is from 9am to 5pm. Exams are a frequent and stressful activity at DTU. They occur twice a semester,but engineering aspirants at DTU fear regular assignments more than the exams!! Well, to be honest at DTU classes are held regularaly but at the end of the day, we end up studying on our own.
- The practical work and workshops are a vital and interesting part of a To be an engineer soon student at DTU.
- Overall experience at DTU is a mixture of emotions (some good and some not so god) , to the memories we gather daily,to the stress and pressure of studies, to the bliss of life at DTU.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is Rs 1,00,000 per annum.
- Scholarship is available to only top 10 rankers in a semester.
- average number of students getting scholarship is nearly 4-5%
- loans are needed by students of some families as arranging about Rs 4,00,000 during a course is quite difficult .
Clubs and Associations
- There are about 100 societies at DTU. Most of which are started by final year students to get some points in GMAT and GRE.
- The main events are the college fest:- ENGIFEST, the entrepreneurship fest :- ESUMMIT, the technical fest :- TROIKA

Entrance Exams & Admissions : DTU take students from the exam named JEE MAIN(Joint entrance exam). There are different eligibility criteria for this exam depending upon your cast. But you must have to clear your 12th Board to get the admission. There is the different cutoff for the different cast.
