Placements and Internships
- Most of the companies that visit the campus are IT companies. However, recently a lot of companies have offered consulting roles.
- The average CTC is higher than INR 12 LPA.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are separate boys and girls hostels and the hostel fee is included in the total fee taken by the college. The college is located approx 60 kms away from Chennai and it is mandated for every student to lives in the hostel.
- The food is also good.
- The college infrastructure is excellent.
Academics and Faculty
- Excellent faculty. Many of the profs come from the colleges abroad to deliver lectures. We have had several guest lectures from the most eminent people. Most of the classes start with case study.
Fees and Scholarships
- The college fee was Rs 16.7 lacs per annum.
- The college aids in availing loans from banks and other institutions, such as HDFC, Avanse etc.
Clubs and Associations
- There are two main college fests - Sanghmitra and Latitude.
- The college life is fun as well as hectic due to classes and assignments.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Eligibility criteria for Great Lakes Institute of Management were 2+ year of experience and a valid score in CAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT. I took CAT 2016 and score 92.36 percentile. There is no typical cutoff for the course as shortlisting is done on an overallall profile basis.
