Placements and Internships
- About, internship I have not done any.
- Our college provides around 50-60 companies for campus placements.
- Average package is around Rs 3-4 lakhs p.a. and Highest of this year is Rs 15 lakhs p.a.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two college hostels, both being out of reach of any middle class students paying full fees.
- Meal costs vary from about Rs 45-60 for simple one time meal.
- It is well known that infrastructure of VIT Pune is not up to the best mark but its sufficient for requirements.
Academics and Faculty
- My college , VIT Pune , has two shift system .i.e two different shifts from 8:00am-12:10pm , & 13:00pm-17:10pm respectively known as morning shift and afternoon shift. Four classes per shift are held, of them two are of theory and rest two are labs or lab subjects. It has very efficient module system, rightly justified by autonomy granted by ugc itself. We have mini projects for each semester, and major projects at final semester. Examinations are conducted by college itself (including paper , syllabus , pattern ,etc).
- Teaching quality is the best you can get in Pune, and staff is supportive for new talents and also to bring up hidden talents too.
- My experience is been very creative and fantasised. You only have to dream , faculties will show you the best possible way to make it true.
Fees and Scholarships
- Fees, are issues for general category Students and those with income above Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum but less than Rs 6 lakhs per annum. It's because the fees are Rs 1,17,499/-per annum. So for students of middle class i.e. upper middle which are great in number like myself it's a big issue.
- Most of the scholarships received are for girls or SC/ST category students, leaving us no option but to struggle to keep up tight with our expenses like projects or good quality stationery ,etc.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 1 hostel for boys and 1 for girls INR 3500 per month for PG. Not so good food in college. Classrooms good,labs good,library is good.

Academics & Faculty : College timing is from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Method of teaching is very good. College provides very good quality of education.
