Placements and Internships

5

Poornima College of Engineering has a professionally run training and placement cell. The cell has strong connections with several renowned companies that have been providing student placements. Several students were hired by top-notch companies including TCS, BYJU, Infosys etc. last year. I haven't had my placement round yet, so I'm getting ready for it in the coming months.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

The infrastructure and transportation systems are exquisite. There is greenery all around the campus which gives a very peaceful and happy feeling. The grounds are well-kept and appealing. The infrastructure includes all the amenities and conveniences as well as a high-speed internet system. The college also offers a hostel facility and the best part is, that it is within the campus. Moreover, the hostel offers hygienic and tasty food.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Poornima does not have an entrance test. You just have to clear your 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Biology, as optional subjects, with a minimum score of 45%.

Academics and Faculty

5

I selected Poornima Institute for pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and telecommunication since this institute provides industry-supported research and has recently begun collaborations with other institutions. The atmosphere is incredibly pleasant and upbeat. All the professors are well experienced and highly professional and you may learn a lot from them. When it comes to academics, teaching quality is fairly excellent since professors experiment with various methods to improve learning through hands-on activities. The courses are regularly updated in accordance with the latest advancements.

Fees and Scholarships

5

PCE gives a provision for scholarships and loans. I was lucky to get a 60% scholarship based on my 12th result as I scored 76% in the best five subjects.

Otherwise, the college also offers a very flexible loan facility thereby allowing the students to make instalment payments.
