I haven't gone through placements as I am still in the 3rd sem, but I heard most companies that visit for recruitment have marketing-based jobs.
The hostel fee is some where between 1-1.5 lakh per annum. There are few PG's located just outside the university, but there are hardly any rooms vacant. Food in college canteen is ok there are other cafes inside the campus but they charge you a lot.
I had written PGCET and got in through counseling. 50% marks in UG and a rank under 10000 were the eligibility criteria for the PGCET exam.
The classes starts from 8:45 am and goes upto 4:45pm with a lunch break of 30 mins, which is very less. All classes are jam packed and I am totally exhausted by the time I reach home.
We have 2 exams per sem, mid-term with 2 subjects per day, one in the morning and one more in the afternoon, and end-term has one subject per day. There are no gaps or study holidays in between exams which is very big concern.
My fee through PGCET is INR 1.5 LPA, and the total fee through management quota is around INR 6 (excluding transport or hostel fee).
There are various clubs like dance, music, speakers, anchoring etc. A student gets to choose any one of it and becomes a member.
The MBA dept organizes a Management fest called CEREBRUM and there is also anothe big cultural fest for all the different depts called INVINCIA.
Overall, the students will have to go through schedules and rules set by the management.
